My experience at Hopkins Senior High School has been overwhelmingly positive. The social studies department, in particular, stands out for its exceptional teachers who ignited my passion for history. Their dedication and expertise have enriched my learning experience immensely. The facilities at Hopkins High School are top-notch, providing a conducive environment for academic and extracurricular activities. Participating in sports teams and extracurriculars has allowed me to create lasting memories and fostered valuable skills like teamwork and leadership. However, there's always room for improvement. Enhancing diversity and inclusion initiatives would make the school even better, ensuring that all students feel welcomed and supported. Overall, my time at Hopkins has been fantastic, thanks to the supportive community and opportunities for growth.

Hopkins high school gave me a pretty good education, (writing this as of my last month) though it may not be the best high school in the area, it does offer lot of different varieties of subjects and sports for those who maybe be interested. The school culture is a weak point, with few active members and not much variety, but there are still plenty of opportunities for students to make friends and find worthwhile activities to enrich the experience. Some of the staff can be off putting as of now, and there are some standing issues that occur on the campus with little interference from the staff and administration, making it feel a little less safe than it could be. I have learned a lot from my classes, and recognize how much is here for those interested in the arts, sports, or stem. And a LOT of engineering specifically. I have friends who have barely exhausted all of the engineering classes over their 3 years here. (Before there was 4.) Overall, is is a friendly school I'd recommend.

I loved my high school. During my 3 years I built valuable connections with my teachers and other staff members. I think those teachers are the reason I was able to overcome setbacks with school work or even the college admissions process. I also believe my school handles adversity very well. As a community we can come together and lift each other up. For example, in June 2023, we lost a classmate. The days following were full of emails from my principal sending her condolences, and her providing spaces to grieve and share memories. My high school gave me a chance to grow and thrive as a student, athlete, and person.
