Seven of the top performers I watched from week two of the Franklin summer league!

POS SG
CLASS 2027
State: Wisconsin
School: Milwaukee Juneau
Club: Team Herro
Dooney showed off his isolation scoring ability in a win over Oak Creek. At 6’4-6’5 he creates space off the dribble like not many guys his size can, and does a nice job of staying balanced allowing him to elevate and hit his jumpers at a solid percentage. Showed off his budding athleticism with a couple of impressive blocks at the rim. After averaging 24.7 ppg as a freshman, Dooney looks ready for a big summer with Juneau and Team Herro .

State: Wisconsin
School: Whitnall
After Whitnall fell behind early, Jack helped spark a comeback to take down Racine Park. The D1 baseball commit is a lights out shooter from beyond the arc, and showed his crafty shot creating ability. Can just lull defenders to sleep and then hit them with a quick crossover to get into space for a pull-up jumper. With each make he was bringing a lot of energy to the floor to help spark his team. Someone who can go out and get a bucket in just about any setting.

CLASS 2025
Rashad Rogers
School: Milwaukee Hamilton
Rashad continues to show improvements on the court. At 6’7 he has a solid combination of size, strength, and athleticism in the paint. Against Oak Creek he threw down a powerful drop-step dunk, and threw down another in transition after running the floor hard. He’s dangerous rolling to the basket and finishing off the move, and also has the mobility to slide into position to make plays as a shot blocker defensively. One of the top post players in Milwaukee.

CLASS 2027
State: Wisconsin
School: Dominican
Club: Kevon Looney Power 5
We could see Zeak’s scoring numbers take a big leap as a sophom*ore at Dominican. He plays with a poise beyond his years, and never looks sped up no matter what the defense throws at him. Jones is a three level scorer, and is capable of taking whatever the defense gives him to go and score with efficiency. Was knocking down jumpers with confidence to lead his team to a big win over Kenosha ITA. Scored 8.2 ppg as a freshman, and could take a big step forward as a sophom*ore.

CLASS 2025
Tarrance Dixon
School: Dominican
Tarrance only played in a handful of games for Dominican as a junior, but could step into a bigger role as a senior. He’s a physical presence inside, and was utilizing that strength to control the paint against Kenosha ITA. Tarrance was producing as both a rebounder and finisher, and had a handful of second chance buckets due to his effort on the offensive glass. That type of presence on the glass could lead to increased minutes as a senior.

State: Wisconsin
School: Milwaukee Juneau
Club: Team Haliburton
Takis is one of those players who at times seems to be in multiple spots at once. Defensively he’ll just pop up out of nowhere to come up with a steal, and is quick to push the tempo the other way. Had a pair of alley-oop assists in the open floor, and stole an inbounds pass before hitting a mid-range shot at the halftime buzzer. Uses his quickness to get into the lane and create floaters or kick it out to his shooters on the perimeter. Scrappy guard who isn’t afraid to go at bigger players.

CLASS 2027
Jayden Jayden WI Burrell
School: Milwaukee Hamilton
Jayden Jayden WI showed why he’s already a proven contributor at the varsity level. He combines strength and quickness to get to the rim on a consistent basis, and against Oak Creek he showed impressive body control to finish from some difficult angles. Had no problem taking some contact in the air and still managing to finish at the rim. Defensively he’s a tough on-ball defender, and had a couple of impressive blocks inside. Put together an impressive spring running with Team Haliburton .
