Why does Citrix say cannot complete your request? ›

This can happen because of bindings on IIS. Make sure if the base URL is https then there should be https binding on StoreFront server with valid certificates if not then change base URL to http and confirm you have http/port 80 binding on IIS.

Bypass duration specifies the time in minutes that StoreFront bypasses an individual server after a failed attempt to contact that server. The default bypass duration is 60 minutes.

StoreFront uses the NetScaler Gateway authentication service to provide pass-through authentication for remote users so that they only need to enter their credentials once. However, by default, pass-through authentication is only enabled for users logging on to NetScaler Gateway with a password.

StoreFront requires a SAML 2.0-compliant identity provider (IdP) such as: Microsoft AD Federation Services using SAML bindings (not WS-Federation bindings). For more information, see AD FS Deployment and AD FS Operations. Citrix Gateway (configured as an IdP).

TCP ports 80 and 443 are used by clients to connect to StoreFront using HTTP and HTTPS communications, respectively. TCP port 808 is used for communications between StoreFront servers within a server group.

StoreFront is free and available to use with XenDesktop and XenApp 5.5 or higher, and it also integrates with Citrix's XenMobile enterprise mobility management platform to provide self-service access to mobile apps.

The Citrix infrastructure involves several ports, so you need to be sure they are opened in your firewall(s). Two ports you can check when a Citrix remote desktop is not launching are port 1494 (when Session reliability is OFF) or port 2598 (when Session reliability is ON).

A failure can occur if ICA file corruption occurs or if a user is attempting to make an unauthorized connection. Verify that the user should have access to the application or desktop based on the user groups defined in the delivery group(s).

Reset the Citrix Receiver if everything else fails. This might cause accounts, apps, and cached files to be removed. Navigate to Receiver icon >> Advanced Preferences >> Reset Receiver. A prompt appears, asking if you want to reset the receiver.

Stop Citrix License Service. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\Licensing\LS\resource\cache folder. Delete entire contents of folder (after backing up). Restart Citrix License Service.
