Tuesday’s at Parkway High have been highly competitive during these first two weeks of team camp action. Schools have had practice time with their players and because of that, there has been good play on the court. “The Cage” saw some new and old faces put on some high caliber performances this week. In this review of Tuesday at Parkway, we will look at who played well on the hardwood.

Jordyn Johnson Jordyn Johnson 6'1" | SG Alexandria | 2025 State LA The Alexandria High guard was one of the best players in the gym on Tuesday. He showed that he is a high volume scorer from all three levels off the floor. His shooting ability was off the charts and his make percentage from behind the arc was high. Not only did he score from every level, he displayed leaping ability that allowed him to rebound or finish putbacks. Johnson is an exciting player and is definitely one to watch this summer.

Caleb Evans Caleb Evans 5'10" | PG Parkway | 2026 State LA Evans had shown his ability to facilitate the Panther offense the previous Tuesday. This past Tuesday, he displayed what kind of offensive weapon he could be. Evans was accurate from three often getting open looks from offensive rebounds. However, it was his ability to get to the rim that was high level on Tuesday. Evans finished with either hand and showed he could manipulate paint penetration with his use of the dribble. His point guard play was at a high level on Tuesday.

Brian French Brian French 5'8" | PG BTW-Shreveport | 2026 State LA When we talk about point guard play, Brian French Brian French 5'8" | PG BTW-Shreveport | 2026 State LA showed that is becoming a very good one as well on Tuesday. His ability to maintain his dribble as he probed the lane to find teammates was high IQ stuff. Couple his handle with the way he shot the ball in the mid-range, French showed he is very dangerous offensively. Brian has also improved his on-ball defense. His skills as a lead guard are really improving in real time.

Antonio Gladney – The Parkway guard left it all on the floor during his Tuesday at Parkway. He took on several assignments defensively without hesitation. Gladney had no problem defending baseline-to-baseline or as soon as a player passed half court. Antonio also helped his team by gathering offensive rebounds for extra possessions. His work on Tuesday showed his impact on the game and helped Parkway win two games.

Ralph Anyanechi Ralph Anyanechi 6'1" | SG Northwood Falcons | 2026 LA Northwood might have come out on the short end in their two games Tuesday. However, they have an exciting player in Ralph Anyanechi Ralph Anyanechi 6'1" | SG Northwood Falcons | 2026 LA . Anyanechi is a strong driver of the ball and when he gets a straight line, he is going to the rim. He has sneaky athletic ability and showed it as he threw one at the rim on Tuesday. Anyanechi displayed high level finishing ability in transition as well. His play is definitely something to build around for the Falcons.

Jackson Bates Jackson Bates 6'2" | SG BTW-Shreveport | 2026 State LA The BTW guard was very good at playing the role of a “three and D” player on Tuesday. Defensively, Bates showed that he could guard several people on the perimeter and is good at disrupting the dribble of ballhandlers. Where he shined though was with his movement without the ball on offense. Bates was able to find spots behind the arc with his constant movement. His ability to knock down the three highlighted his movement. Bates is a shooter who can defend at a high level.

Next Tuesday will probably be similar as Parkway hosts another one day team camp. Hopefully, we will see some more high level play as we did this past Tuesday.
