Hello and welcome to our coverage of the Currie Cup Final between the Cheetahs and the Pumas from Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.

KICK-OFF: The Cheetahs kick off deep.

The Cheetahs win a battle of the bombs with De Beer spilling a high ball under the attention of Jasper. The Cheetahs have the scrum just outside the Pumas 22.

The Cheetahs try a little grubber in behind but the Pumas get across and dot it down in-goal and they have to drop out from the goal-line. Pienaar tries a drop off that dropout but it hits the upright.

The Cheetahs turn down the shot at goal to try for a maul from the lineout.

The Cheetahs attack with advantage but Mafura is isolated and they come back.

PENALTY, CHEETAHS, PIENAAR, 3-0:Pienaar kicks a relatively straightforward goal to allow the Cheetahs to make the early pressure pay.

Olivier pulls off an unbelievable intercept but the Cheetahs don't keep the ball long and are soon backpedalling.

Mafura makes a hash of gathering a kick but then gets away from his man only to hack a poor kick into onrushing Pumas players. The Cheetahs eventually earn a scrum as a loose ball deosn't go to hand.

Jacobs thinks he is away and in on the line but its a forward pass and the Pumas counterattack is ended. Kota had made an excellent run out of his own 22 after a fiercely contested ruck.

Kruger hacks a poor kick straight into touch on the Cheetahs 22 giving the Pumas the platform for another attack.

The Pumas don't protect the ball and allow the Cheetah to get onto the ball and win a penalty to clear their lines.

The Pumas go tit for tat with ruck time penalties as they now get over the ball and will drill the penalty kick back down into the Cheetahs 22.

Appollis is taken out chasing a kick and that will give De Beer a chance to call for the tee.

Kota snatches a great mark to get the Pumas out of trouble after Jasper got away from his man prior to chipping ahead .

The back and forth kicking game looks to suit the Cheetahs but the Pumas have won a penalty and they can now get back onto the attack in earnest.

Just over 15 minutes are left on the clock and the Pumas attack looking to get in range for a huge turnaround.
