Welcome to DJ Lab, where we’re all about the power of music and helping NDIS participants discover their inner DJ or music producer. Whether you’re looking to express yourself, improve your confidence, or just have fun, our private lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs and interests.

We’re proud to be a provider of the National Disability Support Network and to offer our services to NDIS participants in Brisbane and beyond. Our experienced instructors are passionate about music and have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share.

With our private lessons, you’ll get hands-on experience, personalised attention, and the freedom to explore your preferred music genre. We provide all the necessary equipment for lessons at our studio, so you don’t need to worry about a thing, and students can obtain a certificate of completion for our courses.

We understand that navigating the NDIS system can be daunting, but we’re here to help. Let us guide you through the process and help you achieve your musical goals!

If you’re wondering whether you can use your NDIS funding to pay for our lessons, the answer is yes! DJ Lab Lessons are categorised Access Community Social and Recreational Activities, making them eligible for NDIS funding. Students can claim up to 100% of their lesson fees through their NDIS plans, regardless of whether they are self-managed or plan-managed.

At DJ Lab, we understand that not everyone has prior music knowledge or experience, and that’s perfectly fine! Our courses are designed to accommodate learners of all levels, and we have successfully taught over 600 students who have committed to practising at home.

Our lesson fees are paid upfront by the student or plan manager, and reimbursem*nt can be claimed by the student, support worker, parent, or plan manager.

Our DJ Courses

At DJ Lab, we are excited to offer music production courses that cater specifically to NDIS participants. Our aim is to help individuals discover their musical abilities and express themselves through the power of music.

We use Ableton Live to teach a range of techniques from the fundamentals of loop creation to finishing a track in your favourite genre.

Our experienced and passionate instructors are also producers themselves, so they can help you develop your own unique style and sound. Plus, we provide all the necessary equipment, including computers and MIDI controllers, to ensure that our courses are accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Our Music Production Courses

If you’re unable to attend our in-person lessons, don’t worry!

We can offer online production lessons via Zoom so you can still participate in our production courses/lessons from the comfort of your own home.

Our instructors are experienced in teaching remotely and will work with you to ensure that you have all the necessary equipment and resources to participate in our courses/lessons.
