Celebrate the 100th day of school with these 100 book ideas
The 100th day of school is a landmark day to celebrate at any age. One hundred days is more than halfway through the school year, and at this point, students, teachers, and other members of the school community are familiar with routines, roles, and expectations. That’s why this milestone is the perfect time to step back and enjoy a good book.
On the 100th day of school, take time to reflect with students to celebrate what you’ve learned and accomplished over the past few months and discuss your goals for the remainder of the school year.
Start with reading a new book in the theme of “one hundred.” Explore the books listed here as a starting point for your celebration and discussion. This list of 100 books is separated into three categories based on grade level, but you know your students’ reading abilities best and can help point them in the right direction.
